For more than 30 years, Yahsinni has served the heart of Milwaukee, Wisconsin through sacred education, creative empowerment, and community restoration. As a faith-based ecclesiastical trust, the ministry uplifts families and individuals through hands-on learning and spiritual guidance — from teaching online courses in divine law and life mastery, to mentoring children in jewelry design and creative arts, to providing one-on-one counseling rooted in compassion, truth, and divine alignment. Yahsinni’s work bridges education and spirituality, helping people rediscover purpose and harmony in both the physical and spiritual realms. Now entering a new era of service, Yahsinni Awakenings Ministries seeks to expand its outreach — offering more programs, workshops, and creative opportunities to uplift and unite the wider Milwaukee community under the sacred banner of wisdom, creativity, and love.

Claiming Your Beads
Reclaiming Identity Through Creation, Symbolism, and Story
(YAM, Inc. — Youth Empowerment & Healing Initiative)
Program Overview:
The Claiming You Beads program is where art, heritage, and healing unite.
Each bead becomes a story, each string a declaration of identity. Through the ancient tradition of bead-making, youth rediscover who they are — their history, their voice, and their sacred worth.
This is not just an art class — it’s a ceremony of remembrance.
Every color, pattern, and texture carries meaning. Participants are guided to design beadwork that symbolizes their emotions, affirmations, and ancestral lineage. Through the creative process, they learn self-expression, patience, and emotional release while connecting with cultural artistry passed down through generations.
We create with purpose. We adorn ourselves with truth. We wear the story our spirit wants the world to see.

Why It Matters
Beads have always carried stories — of love, of resilience, of spirit.
This program reminds youth that they are art in motion; their creations are prayers woven into form.
“Claiming You Beads is a journey of self-recognition — a ceremony of remembrance through art.”
The Creative Journey
Over twelve weeks, the studio transforms into a healing circle filled with laughter, reflection, and storytelling.
Each participant completes a personal beadwork piece that embodies their affirmations, ancestry, and emotional journey.
During the final Claiming Ceremony, they present their creation, share its meaning, and declare ownership of their story before the community.
“We do not simply make beads—we weave our stories, our breath, and our lineage into beauty.”
When youth leave this space, they carry more than art—they carry remembrance.
Their beadwork becomes a living testament to resilience, creativity, and self-love; a tangible symbol that says:
“I am here, I am whole, and I am claimed.”
